  A lot of food, a fun concept, but it's time to focus on the details that allow one to charge $50+ for a steak. The diner silverware with bent tines, the sickly iceberg lettuce salad (with no serving utensils), no drink menus at the bar. I love that the owner introduced herself, and the steak was done correctly (although no seasoning) but for the price I would expect a great glass for my wine and proper linens OR to go all in with the speakeasy idea, but Sammy's was a bit like diner plus. Clearly a place that holds great memories for many judging by the birthday celebrations, but the food and details need a step up in quality to match the prices.

  Daughter's Birthday food was great. Place is pricey but worth it. Wait was long but mainly due to time of the year. Wood kept the drinks flowing!!
